Much of it appears to relate to marketing initiatives.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"main-blockquote\">\n<p>We look forward to connecting with our fans in fun and unique ways through these avenues, and couldn\u2019t be prouder to be building this relationship with a hometown company,\u201d Bears President and CEO Ted Phillips said in a statement about the partnership.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Few details were announced in the statement. <em>Casino.org<\/em> reached out to the Bears and RSI for more information. But spokespeople at both organizations declined to add to the statement released on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Stadium_Signage_Part_of_Agreement\"><\/span>Stadium Signage Part of Agreement<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The new agreement involving the Bears calls for the Rush Street business to be given digital, social, and print \u201cassets,\u201d the statement said. BetRivers additionally will be the title partner of the Bears\u2019 Free to Play Game. It is on the Bears\u2019 app from Verizon.<\/p>\n<p>Also, players on <a href=\"https:\/\/c212.net\/c\/link\/?t=0&#038;l=en&#038;o=3203961-1&#038;h=1102361678&#038;u=https%3A%2F%2Fpa.betrivers.com%2F%3Fl%3DRiversPhiladelphia&#038;a=BetRivers.com\" class=\"broken_link\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">BetRivers.com<\/a>\u00a0will be able to see promotions for Bears\u2019 prizes and some other unnamed \u201cexperiences\u201d while they make bets.<\/p>\n<p>Under the agreement, BetRivers and Rivers Casino will receive \u201cprominent\u201d signs in the Bears\u2019 home field. Currently, that is Soldier Field. It seats some 61,500 fans and was renovated several years ago. Rumors have floated in recent years the Bears could relocate to a new stadium in the region.<\/p>\n<p>The Bears\u2019 lease with Soldier Field runs through 2033. Breaking it early could mean a hefty payment by the NFL team.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Bears_Bid_on_Arlington_Racecourse\"><\/span>Bears Bid on Arlington Racecourse<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>But the Bears recently made a bid on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/news\/chicago-bears-announce-bid-for-arlington-international-property\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Arlington International Racecourse<\/a> in Arlington Heights, a Chicago suburb. It is owned by Churchill Downs Inc.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"main-blockquote\">\n<p>It is our obligation to explore every possible option to ensure we\u2019re doing what\u2019s best for our organization and its future,\u201d Phillips said in a recent statement explaining the move. \u201cIf selected, this step allows us to further evaluate the property and its potential.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>If the Bears\u2019 bid is successful, the team could play football there and seek a sports betting license for the property.<\/p>\n<p>In response to the Bears\u2019 interest in Arlington, Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot called it a \u201cnegotiation tactic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rivers Casino is located in Des Plaines, Ill., a suburb 15 miles from downtown Chicago. In 2019, Churchill Downs Inc. purchased \u201cownership interests\u201d of Midwest Gaming Holdings for about $407 million.<\/p>\n<p>That was the parent company of Rivers Casino Des Plaines. The gaming property is now majority owned by Churchill Downs Inc.
