With a Wednesday deadline looming for a final verified count, proponents to get a sports betting initiative before California voters appear to have enough signatures – if election officials can finish the count in time. The Graton Resort and Casino in Rohnert Park, Calif., could offer sports betting if California voters approve a referendum allowing it at tribal casinos. In its second earnings report as a stand-alone public company, Genius Sports (NYSE:GENI) said Thursday sales in the January through March period jumped 52 percent to $53.7 million, easily beating analysts’ estimate of $44 million.
