(Image: Tripadvisor)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) signed off on a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/news\/pennsylvania-board-fines-casino-125k-after-young-guests-gamble\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">consent agreement<\/a> offered by the Board\u2019s Office of Enforcement Counsel (OEC) to Stadium Casino to settle the regulatory mishaps. Live! officials conceded that several of its FanDuel Sportsbook employees wrongly took bets via the telephone from a bettor who wasn\u2019t physically located on the casino\u2019s grounds.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"callout\">\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The state probe said it found at least 15 wagers were facilitated totaling $287,421 over eight says for a patron who wasn\u2019t present in the casino. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/news\/mustang-sallys-in-deadwood-loses-gaming-license-over-illegal-proxy-sports-betting\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Proxy wagers<\/a>, or placing bets on behalf of another, are prohibited in Pennsylvania.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Along with the $100K fine, the PGCB revoked the gaming employment licenses of three sportsbook employees who accepted and placed the wagers, resulting in their termination.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Regulatory_Actions\"><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><b>Regulatory Actions<\/b><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The PGCB this week also denied motions from two gamblers who were placed on the state\u2019s Involuntary Exclusion List for leaving minors unattended in vehicles while they gambled inside a casino.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"main-blockquote\">\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Actions such as these to deny statewide gambling privileges serve as a reminder that adults are prohibited from leaving minors unattended in the parking lot or garage, a hotel, or other venues at a casino since it creates a potentially unsafe and dangerous environment for the children,\u201d the PGCB wrote.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Pennsylvania\u2019s iGaming Involuntary Exclusion List is also expanding. The PGCB added 11 more people to the blacklist this week after determining that those individuals engaged in iGaming fraud.<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"callout\">\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The board said 10 of the individuals were found to have used someone else\u2019s name and identifiers to establish fraudulent iGaming accounts. The 11th person banned reportedly used an iGaming account to launder money by having deposits made into the account with other people\u2019s credit cards before withdrawing the funds to their personal bank account without ever engaging in any gaming activity.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The Board\u2019s Bureau of Investigations and Enforcement conducted the iGaming inquiry and reported the findings to the OEC. The OEC recommended to the board that the 11 people be excluded from further iGaming participation.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"p1\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Premier_Regulatory_Agency\"><\/span><span class=\"s1\"><b>Premier Regulatory Agency<\/b><\/span><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Since becoming home to one of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/news\/pennsylvania-gaming-revenue-totals-521m-may\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">largest gaming industries in the US<\/a>, the PGCB has emerged as a new \u201cgold standard\u201d of gaming regulation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Pennsylvania is one of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.casino.org\/news\/golden-nugget-online-casino-taps-neil-patrick-harris\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">only seven states where online slots<\/a> and interactive table games are allowed.
